Arc: every decision, on the record.
Studios, agencies, builders and consultants run every project through scattered notes, calls and email threads. When a client says "I never agreed to that", nobody can prove otherwise. I'm building Arc to make those four words impossible: the shared decision record where every decision is captured, backed by the quote that settled it, and signed off by both sides.
The problem
A client project is hundreds of small decisions made over months: finishes, budgets, changes of mind. They happen in meetings, on site, on WhatsApp, in email. The team's only defence when scope creeps or memories differ is an archaeology dig through threads. It costs money in unbilled changes and it costs relationships in arguments nobody can settle.
What I'm building
Arc is an iOS app that rides along with the meetings you're already having. Record on the phone, or pull the transcript from Granola or Otter, and Arc lifts the actual decisions out of the chatter: each one with the verbatim quote that settled it and both sides named. One tap and the client confirms, so "agreed" only counts when both sides say so. Recording is on-device, the audio never leaves the phone, and the whole ledger exports as one clean PDF for handover, dispute or audit. No portal-shaped filing cabinet: a record both sides trust because both sides built it.
Where the real work is
The hard part isn't storing decisions, it's capturing them without adding admin. The AI has to pull real decisions out of an hour of meeting chatter, attach the quote that settled each one, propose them for confirmation, and stay out of the way otherwise. Getting a busy studio and a distracted client to keep a record without feeling like they're doing paperwork is a product problem and an engineering problem at once. That's the part I'm building personally.
When a client asks "when did we agree to that?", the answer is a link, not an argument.
What it means
Arc is my own product, built the same way I build for clients: AI where it genuinely removes friction, production discipline from day one. It's also a live demonstration of the Build tier of Edgewise Lab: founder-level ownership of a product from architecture to shipped code.
Tell me what's next.
Fifteen minutes, no pitch. If you need a fractional CTO, we'll figure out the shape together. If you need something built, we'll scope it. If it's not me, I'll say so and point you the right way.
You work with me directly. Not an agency, not a sales rep, not a junior.
